Welcome to the Vested community! Please take a quick moment to review these rules.

1. Welcome others to the community

The Vested community promotes constructive learning. Help us create a welcoming, inclusive, respectful community, where people can post without their motives, intelligence, or other personal characteristics being questioned by others.

Members who post in a manner that makes other members feel unwelcome or uncomfortable, or who conduct themselves in a manner in any way detrimental to the Vested community, will lose posting privileges. Also, please do not use an offensive or inappropriate avatar image or user name; we reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to change any avatar or user name that we deem to be offensive or inappropriate.

2. Be courteous

At Vested, we expect discussion to be courteous even when disagreement may be vigorous. When writing your messages, please use the same courtesy that you would show when speaking face-to-face with someone. Flames, insults, and personal attacks will not be tolerated. It’s fine to disagree with opinions, ideas, and facts, but always with respect for the other person. Also, note that messages express the thoughts of the writers, not the community, its owners, staff, or moderators. Visitors who post discourteous messages will be warned; repeat offenders will lose posting rights.

3. Don’t make investment recommendations

Please don’t:

• Recommend others to buy or sell investments. Avoid sharing ‘price targets’ (the price when you will buy or sell a stock), as these look like a strong recommendation that others do the same.
• Publish non-public or confidential information that could impact the price or value of an investment.
• Advertise / spam / otherwise give unsolicited communications.

Vested does not provide investment advice on this forum and individual investors should make their own decisions or seek independent advice. Investment opinion posted here represent the views of the author only and are not approved or endorsed by Vested.

4. Don’t spam

Commercial posts, repetitive posts, spam posts promoting websites, products, or services, posts that do not comply with our Terms of Service, solicitations by private message or email, and other egregious incidents of spam are NOT allowed. Users who post commercial messages will be warned or lose posting privileges.

5. Don’t do anything illegal

Please respect the property of others and don’t post copyrighted material. Excerpts are fine, if you provide attribution and add your own commentary. Also, do not engage in any activity that might be a crime.

6. Watch your language. Don’t swear!

The forum will automatically filter certain words, including many offensive words as well as words, websites, and names that have been targeted by commercial promoters here. Please do not attempt to “spell around” the filter. If a term you are trying to use is in the filter, do not use it. Deliberately evading our filter will cause loss of posting privileges.

Vested reserves the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

By agreeing to these rules you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws. You agree that you will be courteous in your posts, and that you will not post anything which advertises or promotes any business or web site.

User Disputes

We are an open and professional community moderated by the users. This community is built on trust, transparency, and professionalism. However, in the event of user disputes, please be advised that we will NOT:

1. Check the validity of user contributed content. The facts and opinions of users will be left up to the community to evaluate.
2. We will NOT investigate the validity of user profiles. We trust our users to represent themselves truthfully and transparently. Issues concerning the identity of a user should be resolved off-site.

Investigation of Dispute

We will only intervene in user disputes if evidence is provided that a user is acting against the guidelines or rules outlined above. We will NOT investigate one user on behalf of another without substantial evidence.
